Gen10 are continuing our busy Autumn of events on 27-28 October at Energy Trading Week Americas. This in-person multi-day conference takes place in Houston and includes the Energy Trading Risk Summit, an event first popularised by Alpha Insight.

Energy Trading Week Americas incorporates five different event streams, covering many aspects of energy commodities and trading from 70 expert speakers. Streams include risk management, geopolitics, net zero, digitalisation, and climate. They focus on the areas of commonality across energy sectors, for trading, risk, IT and sustainability experts, with additional sessions dedicated to specific energy commodities.

Gen10 CEO Richard Williamson will be sharing his carbon expertise at the conference, on the panel discussion ESG: Get your priorities straight, which takes place at 2pm on 27th October. The panel will discuss what considerations should be taken into account when prioritising steps in your ESG programme, as well as carbon tracking and offsetting – including pitfalls in understanding the differences between different carbon offsets.

As well as bringing his technological expertise to the question of carbon offsets, Richard will be discussing technology implementations at 11.45am on 28th October, in the Implementation Journeys session. This session will explore best practices for implementing different energy and carbon technologies, including ETRM and BI platforms.

Richard will be available throughout the event to answer any questions you have about these topics, and to discuss Gen10’s solutions for carbon trading, ETRM and commodity management. You can book a meeting with Richard and the other members of the Gen10 team on the event networking platform now, or email us at hello@gen10.net.
