The inaugural Commodity Trading Awards recognise the leaders in several key areas for commodity trading. Gen10 are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for two of these awards.

We have been shortlisted for the most innovative CTRM provider of the year award based on our ground-breaking platform NetZero OS. NetZero OS opens up the world of voluntary carbon markets to commodity traders, who are now able to trade and manage diverse carbon credits as they would their physical commodities.

NetZero OS allows organisations to mange carbon projects and purchase credits from multiple exchanges, combining them in one central system with all the inventory management, customisable data and pricing automation that they need to realise the full value of every credit – for their own offsetting or to capture the value of trading in voluntary carbon markets.

NetZero OS was also shortlisted in the Net Zero: best energy transition project award. This shortlisting recognises the impact that the system can have in decarbonising commodity trading and supporting supply chains on their journey to net zero.

Commodity Trading Week

The winners will be announced at the Commodity Trading Awards taking place as part of Commodity Trading Week from 25-26 April in London. The event features two days of presentations and panel discussions focusing on the most pressing issues in commodities, including managing market risks, ESG and sustainability, and commodities digitalisation.

Members of the Gen10 team will be on hand throughout Commodity Trading Week to discuss NetZero OS as well as our flagship commodity management platform CommOS. You can also catch Bruce Tozer, of the Gen10 Advisory Board, discussing Data driven sustainability at 5pm on Tuesday 25th April. This panel session will cover how to use new technologies to ensure transparency in calculating your carbon footprint, carbon accounting, managing and analysing sustainability data sources and understanding the influence of carbon footprints on product positions.

We hope you can join us in London for the awards and to network with the audience of industry experts at Commodity Trading Week. If you’d like to chat about anything commodities or carbon whilst you are at the event, get in touch with us now. Or, alternatively, you can book a meeting with Senior Sales Director George here.
