Generation 10 was proud to be one of the sponsors of the International Cotton Association’s Trade Event on 24 & 25th October in Liverpool, UK. More than 500 delegates from the global cotton community attended the event, which was held at The Hilton Hotel and St. George’s Hall with the theme, “Stronger Together.”

Generation 10 CEO Mr. Richard Williamson said, “We have actively sponsored and supported the ICA for the last 8 years because the association does a lot to promote contract sanctity and create a safer trading environment for its members. In the same way, we at Generation 10 focus on ensuring that our solutions provide clean documentation and a clear and concise audit trail to make dispute resolution quicker.

“ICA applies a ‘top down’ approach to enforcement by engaging at a diplomatic level, whereas our solutions collect information from the bottom up. That’s the best way to ensure that key decision makers have the information they need at their fingertips, providing everything from a high level overview like the current status of a contract, all the way down to the quality characteristics of an individual bale.”

Every year, Generation 10 looks forward to the ICA Trade Event as an opportunity to meet members of other associations, as well as interact with traders, shippers, insurers and inspection professionals from all over the world. The creation of strong, collaborative relationships is one of the keys to Generation 10’s ability to provide efficient and effective software solutions to businesses throughout the global commodity supply chain.
