Gen10 is once again a partner of Commodity Trading Week Europe, taking place on 6–7 May 2026 at Stamford Bridge Stadium, London. The event is one of the most significant gatherings in the commodity trading calendar, bringing together traders, technologists, risk managers, and senior leadership from across the global commodities landscape.
Last year, Gen10 Founder and CEO Richard Williamson joined the Technology Leaders Panel to discuss digital roadmaps and the role of AI-supported innovation in commodity trading. Twelve months on, the conversation has moved from strategy to execution. And Gen10 is right at the centre of it.
From Concept to Competitive Edge: AI in 2026
Richard will be speaking on the panel From Concept to Competitive Edge: AI in 2026, part of the DigiCom conference stream. He will be joined by experts from JPMorganChase, JLR, and Louis Dreyfus Company for a discussion that goes beyond the hype to examine where AI is delivering real results, and what separates the projects that stick from those that don’t.
The panel will cover:
- How AI is being used to enhance innovation across commodity supply chains, with real-world examples.
- Where firms have seen the fastest wins with AI – and what made those projects succeed when so many others fail.
- The adoption gap and the importance of organisational change in making AI stick.
- How long the AI boom can last – and what comes next.
This follows Richard’s recent appearance moderating The Art of AI in Commodity Trading at Commodity Trading Week APAC in January, where live audience polling revealed that 89% of attendees already have an AI strategy, are building one, or are planning to. The London panel picks up where that conversation left off, moving from “should we?” to “how do we make it work?”
Meet the Gen10 Team
Members of the Gen10 team will be at the conference throughout both days to discuss:
- Commodities AI – how Gen10 is embedding AI natively into commodity management workflows, reducing manual workload, and giving traders and operations teams faster access to the insights they need to make better decisions.
- Commodity Management Systems – why the industry is moving beyond traditional CTRM toward integrated platforms that connect trading, risk, operations, logistics, and finance in a single system.
- Live demos of CommOS – Gen10’s cloud-based Commodity Management System, handling $17B in transactions across over 100 commodities.
