Moderated by Ben Hillary of Commodities People, the panel drew close to 500 registrants from across the industry.
The discussion covered the new shape of geopolitical and regulatory risk, eliminating risk silos, managing Black Swan events, embedding sustainability requirements into day-to-day operations, and how technology, from AI to CTRM to traceability systems, ties it together.
One thread ran through the conversation: the integration Gen10 built between CommOS and Windward's vessel tracking platform for Corrie MacColl, the Halcyon Agri-owned natural and synthetic rubber group. Richard Williamson, Gen10's CEO, described bringing Windward's shipment visibility directly into the CTRM backbone, so a slipping ETA or a lost box at a transshipment port shows up in the context of the contract it belongs to and the delivery options available, rather than as a disconnected alert someone has to chase down manually. Tony Fox, Corrie MacColl's Head of Sustainability, confirmed what that looks like day to day:

Tony also spoke to the compliance side of Corrie MacColl's traceability work: building an unbroken chain of custody for close to a thousand smallholder suppliers under EUDR, from geolocation and compliance questionnaires through processing and shipping.
