Liverpool, home of Gen10, the commodity technology experts behind CommOS since 2000.

About Gen10

From the Industrial Revolution to the Digital Age

At Gen10, we deliver a modernisation path away from silos of legacy CTRM and spreadsheets for the firms that move the world's crops, minerals and fuels.

Headquartered in Liverpool. A pivotal place since the start, 10 generations ago.

Why we built it

The case for the commodity operating system

Commodity trading has changed more in five years than in the previous thirty. The systems running it haven't. This was the key driver that has culminated in CommOS, a chat-driven, agentic CTRM for global commodity supply chains.

Data model and contextual layer CommOS holds the transaction lifecycle data model
Agentic interface NaNi puts a chat-driven interface on it
AI orchestration Conductor.AI governs the agents that operate on it

What we believe

The principles behind the platform

01

Understand the problem first

Our developers have been to the farms, the labs, the warehouses, the key trading hubs around the globe. Knowledge that can't be out-sourced.

02

One connected platform

Contracts, logistics, risk and finance in one system, so data moves with the workflow of the trade and shares in real-time with connected systems.

03

AI on rails

Intelligence is only safe and useful on structured data and context, inside governed workflows, with humans approving what matters.

04

Domain depth, system flexibility

Physical commodities are nuanced. Depth, breadth, flexibility, optionality and exception-handling are key to a successful commodity trading operating system.

How we work

Fast to adopt.
Fast to adapt.

Speed matters in commodity markets, and it matters in software too. Speed of implementation, support, agility, and innovation are all critical factors of success at Gen10. Our cloud solutions deploy quickly and globally, and once you're live, regular updates ensure the platform moves as quickly as you do.

We act as an extension to your team, not just a software vendor, applying our history of innovation and commodities expertise to help automation and collaboration reach every corner of your operation.

Beyond the platform

The Silverthread Foundation

Founded by our CEO Richard Williamson, the Silverthread Foundation helps young people build the skills they'll need to thrive in an AI-transformed world.

The Foundation's flagship project is ToBe Studios & Sports — a creative and educational hub in Rondonópolis, Brazil: a place where kids of all ages and backgrounds can engage in technology, music, arts, digital media, and football, and with each other. The goal is clear, the need immediate, and the fun is infectious.
